Notwithstanding the default Allocation Formula: (i) any donor may designate their contribution to a specific participating committee pursuant to 11 C.F.R. § 102.17(c); (ii) if any portion of a contribution causes a contributor to exceed the contribution limit to one or more of the participating committees, then that portion of the contribution will be reallocated to the other participating committees to the fullest extent allowed by law; and (iii) if any portion of a contribution causes a contributor to exceed the contribution limit to all participating committees, or the contribution is not otherwise legally permissible, then that portion of the contribution will be refunded to the contributor.

Contributions are subject to the amount limits and source restrictions under federal law. The legal maximum that an individual or non-multicandidate federal PAC may contribute to JFC in 2023 is $298,700, whereas a federal multicandidate PAC may contribute $165,000.

Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.

Contributions are not tax deductible. Contributions by corporations, foreign nationals, and federal government contractors are prohibited.
